Q1. Is your honey raw?
Yes, our honey is raw, there is no heating of the honey at any part of the process that does not exceed the natural temperature of the hive of 36c. Our honey is span through a excluder and then filtered through a stainless steel mesh.
Q2. Do you smoke your bees?
Yes, we have to smoke the bees to cancel out any attack/stress pheromones that the bees emit while working the hive. However it is best practise to minimise the amount of smoke used on the hive.
Q3. Where do your bees gather their nectar?
Our bees gather nectar from bush land throughout the cassowary coast areas. Some of the trees are - Iron Bark: which produce a light amber honey, Blood Wood: which produce a medium amber honey, Blue Gum: which produce a dark amber honey and Lychees Tree: which produce a light amber honey.

Q6. Can I buy your honey if I am interstate?
Some states like Western Australia and Tasmania do not allow honey to be distributed due to its biosecurity issues and that the product is classed as raw.
